WEEKEND INTERNSHIPS
Watermark Weddings offers two paid weekend internship programs per year; one in the Spring and one in the Fall. The internships offer the opportunity to work closely with our wedding consultants to help plan and orchestrate weddings. The internship is a weekend internship meaning those with full-time jobs or classes may participate. Duties may include conducting the wedding ceremony rehearsal and on-site wedding coordination of both the wedding ceremony and wedding reception. Interns may also attend wedding industry functions.

Spring Internship
The Spring internship is for the months of Feb, March, April, May, June and July. Resumes and cover letters for this internship are generally accepted January 1st through February 1st. Fall Internship
The Fall internship is for the months of July, August, September, October, November and December. Resumes and cover letters for this internship are generally accepted June 1st through July 1st. Internship Qualifications
Your resume and cover letter should demonstrate how you posses all of the required qualifications. Examples recounting situations where the required attributes were demonstrated are encouraged as part of an applicant's cover letter.

  • Previous Event Planning Experience ~ Applicants should have some previous event planning experience. This includes non-professional experience such as sorority social chair, church fellowship chair, college homecoming committee, charity galas etc.
  • Driving Knowledge of Metro Atlanta ~ Applicants should be familiar with Atlanta's interstates and main roads, possess an ability to read and follow a road map and have a reliable means of transportation.
  • Outgoing Personality ~ Applicants should be hospitable, assertive, motivated, independent, diplomatic, resourceful, quick moving and able to multi-task.
  • Weekend Availability ~ Applicants must have availability to work at weddings on Friday evenings and all day on both Saturdays and Sundays.
  • Good Listening-Comprehension Skills ~ Applicants should be able to listen to instructions and carefully and correctly follow directions.
  • Computer Skills ~ Word, Excel, Outlook and General Internet Skills
